Description
Mullein (Verbascum, Verbascum thapsus, Aaron’s rod, Indian tobacco, Jacob’s staff, Peter’s staff, blanket leaf, Bullock’s lungwort, cow’s lungwort, feltwort, hare’s beard, lady’s foxglove, mullein leaf ) has antiparasitic and antispasmodic, antibacterial, antiviral anti-inflammatory, antitubercular, and anti-influenza properties. Mullein is used primarily as an expectorant to remove mucus from the respiratory tract, including the lungs.
