Aromatherapy
Oils and Incense
Oils and incense act upon the sense of smell. The sense is active (gives energy) and passive (receives energy). The oil can be applied and absorbed by the skin and blood or the healing aroma of the oil can be released when an oil saturated incense stick is burnt. The oil from medicinal plants and medicinal wood from herbs has the same curative properties of the plants.
Oils and incense have dominant aromas. These aromas have trace (smaller) aromas that assist proper ingestion in the body. Aromas have an effect on spirit, mind and body. Smell is related to the digestive system. Oil droplets (vapors) are tasted and digested or absorbed by the lungs, into the blood. The cell uses the oil and turns the oil into cellular waste (earth). All the senses operate chemically. The ears have water and hair inside of them. The hair is stimulated by sound and the hair electrically triggers a chemical reaction. You hear chemically. Vision is a chemical process. The light strikes the retina inside the eye. This electrically triggers a chemical reaction that your brain interprets as vision. Taste and touch have sensors that electrically trigger a chemical reaction that your brain interprets. In any case, the final result of smelling produces earth (cellular waste). Smell is operated by the earth’s elements.
Ancient Aboriginals used oils and incense for therapeutic purposes. For example, Myrrh oil was used for antiseptic energies, Quassia for tonic effect, Gm Arabic for birth control and Sandalwood for spiritual effect, etc. The oils were functional and not a cosmetic in Kemet Civilizations.
Downward Force: Jasmine/Calamus, Oak Moss/Cedar, Rose/Sandalwood
Oils/Incense have a downward circulatory (spiral) energy force and an upward circulatory (spiral) energy force. The downward spiral is related to the Male Principle, destruction of impurities, negative thoughts and behaviors, left mind thoughts, contraction (concentration), acid, action, etc.
Upward Force: Oilbanum/Frankincense, Pine/Pine Cone, Lavendar/Styrax
The upward spiral is related to the Female Principle, growth and development (building), right minded thoughts, expansion, alkaline, relaxation, etc. Therefore, to accentuate a particular characteristic or aid cleansing( destruction) or healing (building), choose the oil/aroma accordingly.
Spiritual Baths
What you should know
For centuries, in almost every culture, bathing has been a sacred ritual used to improve health, rejuvenate tired bodies, diminish stress and, of course, cleanse and beautify! A bath can be anything you want it to be; a time of birth and rebirth, a purification of the soul, or a chance to pamper yourself in an ultimate relaxed state.
It is important when taking a spiritual bath to understand that it is different from a regular bath. A normal bath is a necessary function that removes the dirt and grime of daily living, a spiritual or ritual bath has a different aim, to remove unwanted energies and baleful vibrations. The act of undertaking a spiritual bath indicates that the person doing it is a believer in the higher truths. This belief in itself triggers the necessary energies that, mixed with the attributes of your ingredients, facilitates the elimination of the unwanted vibrations and the acquisition of positive energies!
Since the spiritual bath is not intended to remove physical dirt, I advise that before taking a spiritual bath you take a good shower to remove all physical dirt, that way you can focus on the spiritual aspects of your bath! Suggested soaking time is 5 to 20 minutes. Immersion for longer than 30 minutes can leave your skin dry and itchy, as the long soak actually leeches moisture from your skin Bless up!

METHODS FOR PREPARING
For beginners simply toss ingredients into the bathtub while it is filling with warm water. It is an easy and natural way to prepare a spiritual bath. Since modern plumbing and drainage was not designed to accomodate large debris such as herbs, flowers and tree barks. Placing herbs inside of a bag made of tulle, gauze, or other suitable material would be ideal for avoiding clogage. Having a good filter in the drain that can catch the larger items can also work.
Many baths prepared by African-American practitioners involve initially boiling the ingredients in water, then letting them simmer for a while, and adding the liquid to the bath. Mexican American practitioners usually use fresh herbs and do not boil their ingredients. Some like to leave ingredients in water by the sun’s light to allow the herbs to give what they want, without being forced. All methods are viable.
When bathing in a tub, the general rule is that warm or hot water is used to maximize relaxation, and cool water is used to energize the body. The temperature of a bath should usually be moderate, between 95° and 98°. If too hot, it will drain your energy and dry your skin by removing protective oils, hot baths could be dangerous for someone with heart problems. Conversely, if the water is too cool, it can depress the body’s circulation and could potentially be dangerous, especially after exercising or for people with high blood pressure.
Gems or crystals
What you should know
Crystals (gems) are holistic and used for the treatment of dis-ease and biochemical stressors. They are also used to stimulate mental and spiritual energies. In addition, they are used in religious ceremonies or worn on garments, fingers, toes, as bracelets, necklaces, hair decorations and placed on acupuncture related meridians.
Furthermore, gems can be used to treat a variety of diseases. Gems are crystallized plants or minerals (metals) and possess the fossilized energies of the plants or minerals. They can transmit and receive energies. They can be programmed just as a computer is poured over the crystal to have the aura (power) of that herb. Further, a piece of colored cloth can be placed over a crystal and the gem will retain the aura of that color. This same principle can be used to program a crystal with a healing music note. In order to deprogram or ease the previous program of a crystal, water can be poured over it. There are many ways to program and deprogram a crystal.

HOW GEMS WORK
The shape of crystals such as tetragonal, zircon, and double pyramids, attracts and radiates healing energy that has an effect on the health of the spirit, mind and body. Crystals are fossilized energy and have color harmonics, which have curative powers.
Crystals were worn to elevate the spirited mind and stimulate the Melanin and master gland—Pineal. Melanin makes the brain cell for all cells in the body. When Melanin is active, the higher thought is active. Therefore, Africans stimulated Melanin with crystals. In many ancient Egyptian pictures, we see crystals worn for healing and spiritual elevation.

We believe that by embracing a holistic approach to health and wellness, individuals can achieve a more balanced and fulfilling life, and we are dedicated to helping our community reach their full potential.
